DESCRIPTION:Bookings not required for Wed walks. Mt Domain via Ashbrook 
 Fire Trail Leader: Phillip Hope (0405 916 004). This walk includes an of
 f-track section from Ashbrook Fire Trail to a saddle below Mt Domain. Th
 ere is a 500m climb (over 2km) through some rather thick bush initially 
 before reaching the saddle below Mt Domain and onto the usual track to t
 he summit with great views. Returning via Fishing Gap on track. This is 
 a hard medium walk. Gaiters and gloves are needed, poles for the return 
 on track would be useful. Walk starts from Hanging Rock car park in Tidb
 inbilla. Distance: 15km Climb: 700m. BBC level Medium (11). Map: Tidbinb
 illa. Weather forecast (for Canberra): min 2 max 12, slight chance of a 
 shower (it could be much colder on Mt Domain - make sure you have warm c
 lothes and some extra snacks) Meeting point: Kambah Village shops (Marco
 ni Cres, opposite petrol station). Be ready to leave at 8.00 am. Cars: 7
 0 km ($10 per passenger) This a harder walk suitable for fit off-track w
 alkers who are members of the BBC, NPA or CBC clubs. Those doing their f
 irst medium/hard Wednesday walk must contact the leader to discuss the l
 evel of difficulty of the walk.
