DESCRIPTION:Parking on Captains Flat Rd we explore the eastern side of t
 he reserve, crossing Scabbing Flat Creek twice in nice dry schlerophyll 
 woodland. Returning to the cars we head west out onto a high point that 
 was to be the centrepiece of a planned freehold 'ideal garden suburb' in
  the days after the creation of Canberra.
