Nadgigomar Nature Reserve Circuit
Sat 17th May 2025
A circuit through the delightful woodlands of Nadgigomar Nature Reserve, which is about 15 km north of Braidwood. Includes about 2 km beside the Shoalhaven River, which flows clear here among sandbanks. One viewpoint (view pictured). Scores a 'rough' grading because we cross a few steep-sided gullies, and there are a few patches of scrub, but most of the terrain is easy to medium. This area is in a rain shadow and is usually a little sunnier and drier than Canberra, with graceful white-barked gums.
