CBC Easy/Medium Wednesday Walk. Mushroom Rock and Gibraltar Peak

Booking not required for Joint Club Wednesday Walks. If you're not a member of NPA/BBC/CBC you should contact the leader to discuss the difficulty of the walk.
Mushroom Rock and Gibraltar Peak by fire trail and footpath. Starting at Woods Reserve follow fire trails in north-easterly direction to Mushroom Rock. Next continue westwards on fire trails to Gibraltar Peak to take in the views. Return in a south-westerly direction to Woods Reserve using fire trails and footpath.

Terrain information
There is a steep climb from Mushroom Rock to Gibraltar Peak summit. Participants may want to bring poles. Also we walk about 600 metres along the verge beside Corin Dam road.
Transport information
Meet at Kambah Village shops, corner Drakeford Drive and Marconi Crescent in time for an 8:30 departure and car pooling arrangements. Transport cost $24.00 per vehicle or $6.00 per passenger. Participants living in some of the north-side suburbs may want to travel to start at Woods Reserve via the Cotter.
