Forster Hill

How about a morning walk up Forster Hill.
Starting from Kambah Pool Reserve we'll walk along the Murrumbidgee Discovery Trail towards Casuarina Sands Reserve. After walking about 1.8km we'll come across a 'gap' in the adjacent fence. We'll climb through the gap and then start our ascent of Forster Hill. This part of the walk is off track and mainly on dusty dry grasslands.
Hopefully it's a clear day as it's a nice viewing spot. From the top of the Hill you can see the nearby hills, McQuoid, Mt Neighbour, Mt Arrawang, Coleman Ridge, Urambi, Taylor and then there's the Bullen Range.
After morning tea on the hill we'll then return the same way as we came up it.

Terrain information
The Discovery Trail is a formed track. It is a tad neglected in places (over grown) and due to the dry weather there's loose dirt, stones and rocks in some parts. When we leave the Trail it's all off track on grasslands, mainly following some animal tracks. Again due to the dry weather there will be areas where there's loose stones and rock. Highly recommend gaiters for this bit and shoes with decent grip.

Participants to get themselves to the Kambah meeting spot. Thie meeting spot will be disclosed after booking closure time.
