**Bookings not required for Wednesday Walks.** Wamboin forest track Leader: Kathy Handel ph 0447 289 638, khandel@bigpond.net.au Description: Walk along bush tracks that undulate and wind through a small but lovely patch of native forest abutting Kowen forest, with good views from Poppet Hill. The walk is all in forest apart from the access road from Bingley Way. We will finish before lunchtime, so just bring morning tea. Grade: Distance 8km; ascent 250m. Map: Bungendore 1:25000 Meet: Wamboin Hall, 112 Bingley Way, Wamboin. To get there from Sutton Rd, turn into Norton Rd, go 4.1km, turn right into Bingley Way, go 1.1km and the hall and fire station are on the right. We will rationalise cars there and drive further up the road to the starting point. Time: 8.30am Transport cost: $0 Weather forecast: min 15, max 31, 40% chance of a shower (0-1mm).
