 p Tidbinbilla Leader: Phillip Hope (0405 916 004) A shorter walk for a h
 ot day. Starting from the Devils Gap car park in Tidbinbilla Nature Rese
 rve (GR743737) we will walk on firetrail to Devils Gap - will leave the 
 track at this point and walk through light bush climbing off-track to Hi
 ll 1172. There are lovely views from the rock platform. We will have ear
 ly lunch/morning tea before returning to the cars offtrack down hill. Ex
 pect to finish early in the afternoon. Gloves and Gaiters are recommende
 d. Distance: 10km. Climb: 350m. BBC level: 8. Map: Tidbinbilla. Weather 
 forecast for Canberra: mostly sunny, min 10, max 33 (bring plenty of wat
 er) Meeting point: Kambah Village shops (Marconi Cres, opposite petrol s
 tation). 7.50am ready for 8.00am departure. Cars: 60 km ($8 per passenge
 r). Entry to Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve (approx $11 per car) may be requ
 ired. Those doing their first Medium/Hard Wednesday walk and also prospe
 ctive walkers who are not members of the BBC, NPA or CBC clubs must cont
 act the leader to discuss the level of difficulty of the walk.
