Wiarborough Nature Reserve - Mount Fatigue
Tue 19th Nov 2024
Part-day walk
Bookings available to active members only.
The Reserve is located in the Taralga district. The walk is all off-track and exploratory. It's spur and gully country with open forests and woodlands, including snow gums at the higher elevations. It will be a reasonably strenuous bushwalk as there's about 850 metres of ascent in total, but Google Earth imagery indicates only light scrub. Our route takes us over Mount Fatigue, the highest point on the walk at 1030 metres. The Reserve was declared in 2010.
