It was prompted by a Koala sighting at the Jacka Stage 2 development sit e in October 2024; - discuss the ACT Government's Conservation Strategy for Koalas, exploring options like reviving wild populations, establishi ng more sanctuaries, translocations, or continued monitoring; - outline the study's methods (GIS mapping, document searches, and ground-truthing plot surveys) and emphasise public education. - Finally, it will detail how bushwalkers can contribute by identifying suitable tree species, re cognising scats and scratches, and using platforms like NatureMapR, iNat uralist, and a dedicated Facebook group to report sightings. The Zoom wi ll be available too; more details will be available closer to the date. URL:https://canberrabushwalkingclub.mybilby.com/activities/3096 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
