DESCRIPTION:This walk is part of CBC's Super week of Walks celebrating t
 he 40th year of Namadgi National Park, the Canberra Bushwalking Club and
  bushwalking in general. This is an easy, but longish walk to Horse Gull
 y Hut and returning the same way in the Naas Valley. It’s about 18kms 
 return and is a classic Namadgi National Park Walk in the southernmost p
 art of the park which starts from the Mount Clear Campground. We will st
 ay on the wide fire trial which follows Naas Creek through sections of w
 oodland, forest and open grassland over many undulating hills. There are
  also three crossings of Naas Creek where you will get your feet wet (up
  to almost your knees), so bring along a spare pair of socks if you wish
 . The Naas Valley to Horse Gully Hut walk is also part of the Bicentenni
 al National Trail, a 5,330 kilometre long, marked walking trail from Coo
 ktown to Healesville. The Bicentennial National Trail passes through Can
 berra, skirting the outer suburbs before heading through Namadgi Nationa
 l Park and crossing into Kosciuszko National Park.
