This walk is part of CBC's Super week of Walks celebrating the 40th year of Namadgi National Park, the Canberra Bushwalking Club and bushwalking in general.
Walk is now full: waitlist started. This is a day walk to the 8th highest named peak in Namadgi National Park - Mt Gudgenby (1,739m). On a good day, you can get great views from the peak into the southern part of the Bimberi Wilderness. The walk involves significant off-track walking as well as some rock scrambling and is only suited to walkers experienced with these conditions.
