DESCRIPTION:The Kangaroo Island Wilderness Trail is a unique 5 day 70km 
 full pack experience. It mainly follows the beautiful Flinders Chase coa
 stline where we will visit beaches, cliffs, extraordinary rock formation
 s and lots of coastal wildlife including seals and sea birds. I’m plan
 ning a 10 day round trip from Canberra with a free full day on KI for ot
 her sightseeing, but others in the group may want to stay longer. I’ve
  reserved some very good townhouse style accommodation in Kingscote as a
  base for the group. Kingscote is the main town on KI and has all of the
  usual facilities of a seaside town. Cost considerations include fuel, a
 ccomodation, car ferry and the cost of the walk but should total around 
 $800 or $900 per person for the 10 days. If you’re interested in comin

 kdown. The walk is limited to 48 persons per day (36 reserved for privat
 e tour operators) with 12 places only reserved for independent walkers.
