DESCRIPTION:This is a repeat of a wonderful walk led by John Evans. I co
 uldn't resist putting it on myself (with his very kind permission) as it
  is a stellar route! From the track head at the former Orroral Valley Tr
 acking Station we'll explore the mid valley area, taking in indigenous a
 nd European sites, and crossing the Orroral River at least twice to ensu
 re we get an opportunity to get wet feet! Real bushwalker stuff! Having 
 been tempted by the super views to the granite tors on both sides of the
  valley after lunch we'll walk an old favourite - the Granite Tors Walki
 ng Track. This track has been recently renovated after the fires and tak
 es a new route with fire-proof stone steps replacing what was formerly a
  bit of a trudge on an old service. Distance is approx 21km with an asce
 nt of 580 m. Bring a torch for a tor explore.
