Mushroom Rock: the hidden gem!!!!!

You are welcome to join me on a walk along tracks as well as fire trails in the marvellous Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve. The walk will take us from the Dalsetta Car Park within Tidbinbilla, zig zagging up to Gibraltar Peak, where we will have stunning views across the valley and morning tea.
From here, we will move from tracks to a fire trail which is VERY steep in parts, so poles are highly recommended.
Mushroom Rock is a hidden gem and worth exploring! After an early lunch, we will head back to the Dalsetta carpark along the way we came.
The walk will be about four or so hours and around 12kms. We should be back at the cars at Dalsetta by around 1ish pm.

Terrain information
Although we are on rails and tracks, there are some very steep parts. The walk to Gibraltar Pear is listed as a Grade 4 walk.
Transport information
I'm not 100% sure how the new Tidbinbilla entry arrangements work, but we will meet in the Kambah shops. Details for car pooling etc will be circulated well prior to our departure!
