A perfect time of year to spend 10-14 days slowly travelling via Katherine Gorge rafting, Mataranka Hot Springs, Tennant Creek then either Mt Isa and outback Queensland or Alice Springs and Cooper Pedy. Two rafts provided. Car is fitted out with stove chairs, table and water bottles. Opportunities along the way to do short or overnight raft or walk. Must be prepared to share driving and costs in this well loved and reliable Toyota Landcruiser with a roof top tent.
