TRIP FULL. Leader: Meg McKone. Five days, six nights base camped at Blackheath Glen tourist Park (tent and powered sites, ensuite sites, cabins if you get in quick!). Day walks of varying levels of difficulty to places such as Blue Gum Forest, Goochs Crater, walks from the Mt Hay Road, sections of the new Grand Clifftop Walk from Wentworth Falls to Katoomba. Spectacular views of soaring sandstone cliffs and deep, forest-filled valleys, and wonderful wildflowers including loads of waratahs on the undulating plateau tops. If it's wet we can do the cafes, art galleries and bookshops of the Upper Blue Mountains.
