DESCRIPTION:Located in the heart of Namadgi National Park lies the iconi
 c Mt Namadgi. While it may not be the ACT's highest peak, it is the tall
 est mountain that stands wholly within the territory. Day 1: From Yankee
  Hat car park walk the Gudgenby grasslands to cross Middle Creek and the
 n handrail it upwards to set up camp at Big Creamy Flats. 13.5 km, 550m 
 ascent. Day 2: Begin with a morning summit of Mt Namadgi, followed by an
  exploration (subject to the condition of the scrub and terrain) along t
 he north west spur to the granite bulb (image - John Evans), before retu
 rning to camp in the afternoon. Day 3: Back out the reverse of Day 1. Su
 itable for experienced, fit, off-track pack walkers accustomed to scrub 
 bashing 8 hour days.
