Gently meandering along the high ground on the ACT -NSW northern border, this walk offers great glimpses over the new subur bs of Gungahlin, right across the city and out to the ranges beyond. At One-Tree Hill lookout (which is virtually bisected by the NSW-ACT border ), we'll stop for morning tea. An interpretation panel discusses the sit ing, surveying, and development of the Australian Capital Territory (it' s more interesting than it possibly sounds). There are also some benches on which to rest and admire the view. This part of the CCT is a popular cycling track, and although it's generally wide enough to accommodate w alkers and bikes moving in both directions, and we'll be walking fairly early, it's still important to pay attention for riders on the trail.
