Tidbinbilla Pyramid and Mushroom Rock

We start from Woods Reserve walking up the fire trail to pick up Devils Gap Loop and then on up to the Pyramid, morning tea here before heading down to Devils Gap. Back down the fire trail where we will pick up some disused fire trails. We follow these tracks over to Mushroom Rock, this is a popular climbing spot. Lunch will be en-route or at Mushroom Rock if we make good time. Our return to Woods Reserve is all on current fire trails. If we have spare time there will be a detour to another climbers spot.

This walk should have a bit of everything, fire trails, disused fire trails which maybe overgown in places, foot pads and some very overgrown places on the Pyramid, there will be some scrambling and bush bashing, Gaiters and gloves are strongly recommended. Bring plenty of water if hot.
Transport information
Meet at Lanyon Shops at 0700 for 0710 departure in 3 cars. Please indicate with your booking if happy to drive. Cost per person $4.00
