DESCRIPTION:After our long drive through Braidwood and Mongarlowe (1.5 h
 ours) we park our cars then it’s all on track up a graded, leaf-litter
 ed fire trail to the fire tower at the top of Mount Budawang for lunch a
 nd panoramic views of Currockbilly Mountain, Pigeon House, the Castle, D
 urras Mountain and, on a clear day, the south coast. This walk will take
  us through several environments, from grassy woodland, among cows (in t
 he fields to the side), through montane forest finally arriving at the t
 op where grassland predominates. We may even see the rare Budawang walla
 by grass which is only here and on Currockbilly Mountain. Along with the
  views our reward is a stop for coffee in Braidwood on the way back to g
 ive our drivers a chance to refresh,
