Training

A session with wild caught venomous snakes to further understand their behaviors. This activity is offered by members of Queanbeyan Wildcare, some of whom are also members of the CBC and ANU. It is a joint session with members of the ANU Mountaineering Club. It is intended primarily for leaders but if there are places available then members may join. It will be held at 721 Bungendore Road Bungendore. Cost is $25 per participant (CBC will sponsor members).

Terrain information

Outside in the sun. Long, loose fitting pants and footwear that does not have mesh uppers are essential to participate. Gaiters if you have them but do not wear tight fitting pants or runners.

Transport information

Arrive at 8.45 am for a 9 am start. Drive yourself to 721 Bungendore Road, Bungendore. Morning tea will be provided but please bring your own cup.


A walk or similar activity with a duration of a day or part day. No overnight gear required.
