Red Rocks Gorge and ‘The Chasm’
Tue 26th Dec 2023
Part-day, Walk
Starting from Tuggeranong Pool (Lakeside Leisure Centre car park), walk along the Murrumbidgee River from Tuggeranong Creek confluence to Red Rocks Gorge. We will be off-track, close to river for about 2 km to get spectacular views of the rapids. Mostly not difficult but expect rock scrambling and some prickly bushes when off-track. Return via Centenary Trail. About 10 km with total climb of 200 m. Early start to avoid the heat and we will be finished by lunchtime.
A walk or similar activity with a duration of a day or part day. No overnight gear required.
