Weekend Wander to Corang Lagoon (Budawangs)- via the new legal circuit

Near Braidwood. Enjoy a moderate / easy two day circular walk mostly on tracks past The Three Towers, The Secret Garden, Goodsell Gorge, Corang Lagoon swimming hole and Twin Falls. With approx two hours of off track walking along the boundary of a new fence erected by private property owners we will negotiate the new legal route to camp adjacent to a large swimming hole. Expect spring flowers including Monga Waratah, the very rare Grevillea Renwickiana, pagoda towers and rock hopping.
You must register but we will leave from Wog Wog Campground at 9 am Saturday and finish on the Nerriga Rd just south of Black Bobs Creek-35.214470, 150.027517 4 pm Sunday and do a short 7 km car shuttle. No fires. Bring tents, swimmers, warm clothes, long trousers, secateurs and gardening gloves. Meet others interested in the Corang Lagoon issue. Leader David Poland

Mostly on track but due to a new private property fence we will need to walk about two hours off track. Bring long trousers and gloves and secateurs. Some rock hopping.
