Commencing from near the Actew Sub-Station on Frith Road, we head towards the Botanic Gardens fire trail, to link u p with the Bushland Nature Walk and then the Lake View Track. It’s bit of a puff up towards the lower summit car park. We then join a lovely s haded forest loop (anti-clock wise direction) below the tower. Just shor t of completing a full loop, we descend to the Upper Woodlands Track and then criss-cross on single tracks through the western & northern parts of the reserve, before returning to our starting point via Little Black Mountain. Hopefully, we will see a nice show of native orchids. We will take time to admire their beauty and a morning tea break.
