Goorooyarroo Nature Reserve is an 829-hectare protected area located in north-eastern Canberra adjoining Mulligans Flat Nature Reserve to the north-west, together forming a continuous protected area extending across more than 18 km² of woodland. This loop walk explores various aspects of the reserve (including 9 knolls, ridge lines and grassy woodlands etc..), criss-crossing the undulating landscape, providing a lovely vista to Canberra to the west and Sutton NSW to the east. The walk involves some steep sections along fire trails and single well defined foot pads with some off-trail. Gaiters and/or long pants are essential.
