Valley-level tracks at Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve

A morning of short walks in the Tidbinbilla valley floor.
Cascade and Lyrebird Trails. Visit the wonderful cascade and tree fern on Mountain Creek. The streams (see photo) should be running well after forecast showers on Saturday. We'll walk to the bottom of the footpad to Snowy Corner and then come back to complete the Lyrebird Trail.
Hanging Rock Trail. This short walk visits the huge tor group recognised as an indigenous site.
Central lookout. Drive to a lookout at the centre of TNR for 360 degree views.
Congwarra Trail. Starting from Greens picnic area, the trail wends its way through bushland, past the great Nature Discovery Playground and beside the Tidbinbilla River.

Meet at 8.30am on Sunday at the entrance to TNR. Look for my blue car with kayak racks. No entry fee is required.
