Kybeyan rock ribs

This three-day walk will explore the rock ribs of a part of Kybeyan State Conservation Area which the leader (Linda Groom) has not previously visited. Some CBC members will be familiar with the rocky outcrop on Mt Pleasant - the rock ribs that this walk will explore appear to be more extensive and at one point are intriguingly cut by a creek. After wading the Numeralla River, we will walk in - a gently undulating half day walk - across Dangelong NR and into Kybeyan SCA, to camp beside a tributary of the Numeralla. Then spend the afternoon and the next day doing exploratory walks, at a moderate pace but with some very rough terrain, with day packs. On the last day we will take a ridge-top route back to the cars. As this is a rarely-walked area, we will use stoves, and will be taking extra care with shoe and tent-peg hygiene.
