Part-day walk

This is the reverse of the walk John Evans put on 17 Dec 22. We start from Mountain Creek car park taking the challenging track up to Snowy Corner. From there we walk the skyline to Mt Domain taking in some awesome views of the TNR and the Brindbinbillas, this section is approx 3 km, mostly off track and includes some hard bush bashing. We descend from Mt Domain joining the firetrail to finish up at Fishing Gap car park.

Steep section, foot pads, rough tracks and bushbashing. Gaiter and gloves recommended.

Transport information

Car pool in 3 cars from Lanyon Shops meeting at 0650 for 0700 departure. $25 per car, $6.30 per person. This walk will involve a car shuffle.
