DESCRIPTION:FISHING GAP TO MT DOMAIN AND SNOWY CORNER GRADING. Distance 
 is about 12 km. Total height gain is 833 metres. The walk is graded Medi
 um Hard (11 on the BBC scale) due to some thick scrub in off-track areas
 . Leader: Andrew Cupit (0478 309 791) cupitandjen@outlook.com We start f
 rom Fishing Gap car park and walk up the fire trail to Fishing Gap (4km)
  and then head north up a steep incline to Mt Domain. We then continue n
 orth off track along the ridge line through thick scrub for around 4km t
 o Snowy corner and the Mt Tidbinbilla track. Various views back towards 
 Canberra, Cotter River valley and Tidbinbilla nature reserve along the w
 ay. There is 4kms off-track and 8kms on foot pads and fire trails. Long 
 pants, gaiters and gloves (and patience) are recommended because there i
 s a lot of thick scrub and some rocky areas. We start at Fishing Gap car
  park and end at Mountain Creek car park within Tidbinbilla. We will do 
 a car shuffle in Tidbinbilla. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Long pants, gaiters 
 and gloves are recommended. FORECAST: For Canberra: Cloudy. Min 14, Max 
 24 and 50% chance of showers. MEETING TIME AND PLACE: Kambah Village Sho
 ps, so we can leave by 8.00 am MAPS: Tidbinbilla CARS: 70 km ($10 per pa
 ssenger) Those doing their first Medium/Hard Wednesday walk and also pro
 spective walkers who are not members of either the NPA, BBC or CBC clubs
  must contact the leader to discuss the level of difficulty of the walk.
