Mt Gingera
Sat 14th Jan 2023
Walk
Status 11am 13 Jan 12 places 12 approved. Trip now closed.
Leader Jeff B. From the Ginini car park, we follow fire trail and foot pad to and from this 1857m summit, which has excellent views to Canberra in one direction and over Tantangara Dam to Mt Jagungal in the other (picture). This is an easier walk than going to Mt Gingera from Corin Dam, but the drive is much longer on a rougher road. The summit is sub-alpine. Pace will be slow-medium.
Real starting time TBA; will depend on weather, numbers, who is in the party. (Ignore the Bilby default of midnight!)
