Reclaim the Lagoon. Visit Corang Twin Falls by the new northern circuit.
Mon 02nd Jan 2023
Help Save Corang Lagoon and its Twin Falls. A private property owner has fenced off the sixty year old public southern walking track from Wog Wog and subdivision is expected. Visit before we lose this wilderness. 10 km each way so expect a long day - half track, half thin scrub. Bring swimmers. Long trousers and gloves optional. Approx 8 hrs return plus a leisurely lunch swim at the Corang Twin Falls. Wildflowers, waterfalls, views, pagodas and of course a swimming hole. A new circular route has been pioneered via the northern bank outside the private property boundary. Wet feet definitely. Two small river crossings. Slippery rocks at times. Flat with a 5 minute climb only. For pictures of this threatened wilderness on our doorstep see face book group Keep Corang Open.
