DESCRIPTION:From the Namadgi Visitors’ Centre we proceed westward alon
 g the Australian Alps Walking Track, past the Cypress Pine Lookout then 
 onward and upward to the junction with the new Mount Tennent Walking Tra
 il. From there we slog our way to the top of Mount Tennent where we will
  enjoy the views and tuck in to a well-earned lunch. After we have had c
 offee, port and cigars (walkers to supply) we descend from the mountain 
 and then swing to the south-south-east along the sometimes slippery fire
  trail and passing some very interesting topography left scarred by the 
 fires of 2020. Near the end of the walk we easily ford Honeysuckle Creek
  and make a steep but brief ascent to Apollo Road and the cars that we p
 re-positioned there earlier in the day.
