Climb Mt Bimberi and Walk the Aqueduct Trail, KNP

Drive to Oldfields Hut on Friday via morning tea at Adaminaby then a cruisy afternoon relaxing around a campfire. Next morning (Saturday) we climb Mt Bimberi and after that strenuous effort we take an easier day on Sunday walking the Aqueduct Trail before arriving back at our cars. Via Adaminaby again for arvos and then back in your own bed that night all snug and well exercised.

Combination of management trails, footpads and some minimal off-track.
Transport Information
Car pooling for those that wish or you can drive yourself. Distance from Canberra return is approximately 432 kms on sealed road to Adaminaby then dirt/gravel on Tantangara Rd then rough Pocket's Saddle Road to the locked gate. AWD and 4WDs preferred. Transport cost $175 per car.
Accommodation Information
BYO tent and we camp beside Oldfield's Hut. There's tank water and a stream nearby, toilets and an outside firepit. Inside fire at Oldfield's and a porch if it rains.
Canberra Bushwalking Club legacy activity structure - from imported data. Do not use it for new activities.
