DESCRIPTION:Family and friends of Stan Marks will gather for the scatter
 ing of his ashes at Mulligans Flat. A 5km return walk will start from th
 e car park at Amy Ackman Street, Forde (opposite Cleggett Street) at 9.0
 0 am, to Stan's Rock. The small off-track granite Rock bears a plaque ho
 nouring Stan's leadership of 820 Club walks. It is on higher ground with
  a pleasant view to the Brindabellas, and could be a stopping point, for
  some, on future walks. The ashes will be scattered in the bush in the s
 urrounding area. The walk will also go past Stan's Seat, a new $6500 ins
 tallation paid for by family and friends to support the relocation of th
 reatened species in the Wildlife Sanctuary. This work was much admired b
 y Stan. All CBC members and friends of Stan are warmly invited to partic
 ipate, and join "the gang" for an early lunch at the Arboretum. A crowd 
 funding appeal for Stan's Rock ends on Monday 14 February. If you would
