Mount Clear Campground to Horse Gully Hut

This is an all on-track walk along a section of the Naas Valley to Horse Gully Hut. We will also make a brief side excursion to visit Demandering Hut. As I understand it, both huts were damaged in the 2020 fires, so it will be interesting to see what remains.
The track passes frost hollows and has snow gum woodland on the braes of the valley. A very pleasant day among the green stuff!

Terrain Information
Undulating. Everything is quite soggy at the moment. Expect to get your feet wet with some stream crossings.
Transport Information
Although we will be meeting at Lanyon Market Place and walkers will have the option of car sharing - with masks. Others may choose to play it safe and self-drive. Driving distance is 108 km, with a payment to drivers of of $13 per person, if car sharing.
