Kama Nature Reserve and Molonglo River Walk

A delightful walk through endangered Yellow Box -Blakelys Red gum grassy woodland to the Molonglo River following a walking track. We will also explore along the river for a few kms before returning along a slightly different route.

Mostly undulating and flat on fire trails/walking tracks
Transport Information
Meet at 10am at the start of the walk which is on William Hovell Drive approx 5.5 km from Glenloch interchange and approx 2km from Drake Brockmann Drive intersection. Walk is 8-9 km with 100m elevation loss and gain. There is parking on both sides of the road but because its 80 km speed limit, care must be taken when pulling off the road. There is a walkers underpass for those parking on the NE side of the road and a large Kama entry sign next to parking on the SW side. Bring morning tea and lunch.
